Blackpool Panthers would like to point out that contrary to reports by both SKY Sports and the Blackpool Gazette regarding the club breaching the salary cap, the RFL informed us one week prior to the tribunal that we, as a club, were under the salary cap total.

Blackpool Panthers are looking for children aged 8 to 14 to come on their Community Rugby League Camp at Stanley Park. This will be held at Blackpool Cricket Club, home of Blackpool Stanley, on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th July starting at 10.00am. At the Community Rugby Camp, the children will be learning fun basic skills such as passing, kicking and tackling. The children will also will receive free give-aways and prizes. Every child that comes on the camp will receive a free Blackpool Panthers Goodie Bag and free ticket to the London Scholars match on the 31st of July 2pm kick off.
This should be a great day out for any child and will help promote Rugby League in the Blackpool Area. To take advantage of this offer, please fill in the form and send it in to the Panthers Head Office as soon as possible as there are limited numbers for the Camp.

The Northern Rail 9’s returns to Blackpool for its second year, this exciting competition will be kicking off at 10am on Saturday 17 July at Fylde RUFC, Lytham. Blackpool Panthers the reigning champions have drawn Doncaster and London scholars in pole 4.
This exciting 9’s competition will feature all 18 English Co-operative Championship and Championship 1 clubs, that are not participating in the Northern Rail Cup Final. This year the tournament will be decided in one thrill packed day where you will be able to see 40 + game throughout the exciting day collimating with the final, kicking off at 6.30pm.
Tickets to the Northern Rail 9’s will go on sale at Blackpool Panthers next home game verse South Wales (Saturday 3rd at 3 o’clock) from the Panthers Office at Fylde RUFC Lytham, priced at just £9 for adults and £5 for concessions. |
