We have
secured the services of Gregoire and Phillippe until
the end of the season. Both have recently played for
their club in the French Championship Final.
News from Club Chairman John Chadwick
“After
a poor run of results, the coach has taken steps to
change things and as you will note other players
have come in and a further couple are scheduled to
arrive in the next day or two, this is in addition
to Chris Forster who made a very impressive debut at
Keighley last Sunday.
We have arranged a Public Meeting on Thursday
next, 10th July 2008 at the Old Bridge
Inn on Lytham Road, Blackpool at 7. 30 pm. This
is for everyone – supporters, rugby league
enthusiasts, etc. If you fancy coming on to the
Board you would also be most welcome or feel you can
help in anyway, you will be more than welcome. The
Board of Directors, the Coach will all be in
attendance”

Directions
Road:
Leave M6 motorway (whether coming
from the north or south) at junction 32 - the M55
turnoff. Follow M55 to junction 4 (signposted to
Blackpool North - leave M55 at this junction. On
leaving the motorway turn left onto A583. Cross a
large roundabout, and at first traffic lights turn
right. After about 1.5 miles, turn left at traffic
lights (T junction) onto B5261. Follow this road for
approximately four miles. Fylde RUFC is on the left
opposite "The Blossoms" pub.
Rail:
Travel to Preston, then change to a
Blackpool South train. Get off at Ansdell station.
The ground is only a few hundred yards away. If you
are travelling from Blackpool North, you will need
to take a bus to Lytham. Buses run frequently.
