The Blackpool Panthers are looking to enter an Under 18’s team in the Gillette National Youth 2010/11 competition, which will run from November to April.
The competition will have teams from across the UK and include entries as far South Wales and Hemel Hempstead in the south to Gateshead in the North.

As you can imagine this will be a great opportunity for our local players and coaches to develop their skills and is an excellent pathway to the Panthers professional team.
The Panthers under 18’s team are currently in promising talks with Blackpool Council to base myself to the Blackpool Stanley Park Arena.

We see this as a perfect base for the new team as not only because it is very central but because it has great facilities on site.

To staff the team we are looking for

•         Two coaches (level 2)
•         Team Manager
•         Physiotherapist
•         First Aider

All the positions will be volunteer but we will able to give expenses depending on funding.

We are also looking to holding a trial for players in May/June Venue TBA. The trials (dates TBA) is open to all residents in the Lancashire area for League or union players to come along.
