Blackpool Panthers
Home ground is at The Woodlands Memorial Ground,
famous home of Fylde RFC!
All Blackpool Panthers home games in 2008 onwards
will be played at Fylde RFC ground at The Woodlands
in Lytham St Annes, about 5 miles from the centre of
Blackpool.

The Woodlands has
been the home of Fylde Rugby Club since its
foundation in 1920. The 13 acres which constituted
the Woodlands Memorial Ground was purchased in 1946
(for £7,000!) and named in honour of the members who
had given their lives during World War II.

In 1964 the 2nd
England Trial was held at the Ground and a new
Clubhouse extension opened. In 1970 the North West
Counties played the Fijian Tourists at the Woodlands
and attracted a record gate of 7,600. The opening of
the splendid new Clubhouse in October 2005 marked
the beginning of a period of exciting physical
developments at the ground.
